Policies

The Town of Newport has adopted a Policy Against Discrimination and Harassment issued by New York State. It is required that all elected and appointed Officials and employees of the Town of Newport review this policy ( See Document "Town of Newport Policy Agnst Discrimination and Harassment" below) within 30 days of adoption. Upon completion of the policy review Page 14 should be printed, filled out by the individual and returned to the Town of Newport Clerk.

There is also requirement for all Elected and Appointed Officials and employees to have certified training. This training can be obtained on the NYMIR.org website (Follow the User Guide below to obtain training).
