LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Newport is looking for applicants to fill current vacancies for members on the Board of Assessment & Review and an Animal Control Officer.

The Board of Assessment & Review (Grievance Board) meets once a year in May to review complaints in regards to property assessments.  Certified training is a requirement (one session in March) and is provided to the members by the Town.

The Animal Control Officer’s responsibilities will be reviewed during an interview following receipt of letter of interest.
