NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING
Please take notice that the Planning Board of the Town of Newport will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, January 24th at 7:00 PM at the Newport Town Hall 2788 Newport Rd., Newport, NY 13416 to consider the following application:
Application for a special Use Permit by Eli Petersheim at his primary residence of 163 Strumlock Rd., in the Town of Newport. His proposal will discuss the continued operation of a commercial sawmill. The project is an allowable land use under a Special Use Permit approval pursuant to 4.4 of the Newport Zoning Law.
The applicant Eli Petersheim has made an application on 7/06/2018 including a basic site plan. At the aforesaid public hearing, the Newport Planning Board as lead agency will consider public response and the impact the project will have.
Persons wishing to appear at the hearing may do so and will be heard. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board before or at the hearing.
Immediately following the public hearing, the Planning Board will hold a regular meeting.
