NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice that the Planning Board of the Town of Newport will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, September 19th 2018 at 7:30 at the Newport Town Hall 2788 Newport Road, Newport, NY 13416 to consider the following application:

Application for a special Use Permit by Dan Yoder at his primary residence of  339 Butler Rd., Poland,  NY 13431, in the Town of Newport.   His proposal will discuss the continued operation of a commercial sawmill currently under a “ Stop Work Order”   The project is an allowable land use under a Special Use Permit approval pursuant to 4.4 of the Newport Zoning Law.

The applicant Dan Yoder has made an application on 07/06/2018 including a basic site plan.  At the aforesaid public hearing, the Newport Planning Board as lead agency will consider public response and the impact the project will have.

Persons wishing to appear at the hearing may do so and will be heard. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board before or at the hearing
