PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Town of Newport will conduct Public Hearings on May 22, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Newport Town Hall at 2788 Newport Road, Newport, NY 13416 to consider the following applications:

 

1.) Application for a Special Use Permit by Shawn and Tiffany Morrison at 366 Graves Road, Newport Rd, Newport, NY in the Town of Newport.  This proposal will discuss a Key Hole Lot in Residential 2.

 

2.) Application for a Special Use Permit by Chad Pickerd at 343 Newport Gray Rd, Newport, NY in the Town of Newport.  His proposal will discuss a Key Hole Lot in an Agricultural Zone and District.

 

3.) Application for a Special Use Permit by Andrew DiFillippo II for a Large Home Based Business at 472 Summit Rd, Newport, NY in the Town of Newport.  His proposal will discuss a garage with an office space for fiber optic installation business in an Agricultural Zone and District.

 

At the aforesaid Public Hearings, the Newport Planning Board, as lead agency, will consider public response and the impact the projects will have on the community.
