The Town of Newport is currently developing a ten-year Comprehensive Plan for 2025 to 2035. A Comprehensive Plan is a document that describes the Town’s history and current state, as well as articulates a future vision for our community. It acts as a road map to guide future growth and development while promoting the health, safety, and general welfare of the people who live in the Town.
